From our family to yours, this very special spot in Somerset Village is steeped in history and totally unique.
This is the original Fernvale church from 1894 until it was relocated to Somerset Village in 1934 & reopened in 1935 to support the community building the Dam and sitting alongside the Somerset Dam School House
About Us
SLEEPS 10 GUESTS
Featuring three Queen beds and a bunk room that sleeps four singles, The Church can accomodate up to 10 guests.
The Main Bedroom is located on a large open-air loft upstairs complete with juliette balcony.
Downstairs are three bedrooms, two with Queen beds and the bunk room with two sets of single bunk beds, sleeping 4.
The Church is air-conditioned throughout with reverse cycle ducted air con for use in summer or winter.
STOCKED
The Church is well equipped with a fabulous pulpit kitchen, large Fridge, coffee machine, plenty of entertaining glassware, platters as well as a new large Oven.
Nothing better than cooking up a feast at the Dam (catch your own in the Dam) or grab some take away from the Dam General Store.
SPACE TO CHILLAX
The massive outdoor back deck is the ideal spot to enjoy your time. Cook up on the BBQ, we have a double outdoor dining setting and large outdoor couch. Great for playing cards, feasting or an afternoon snooze under the fans after being on the water.
Take in the great views surrounding The Church in our quiet cul-de-sac location.
We also have a cute-as wisteria-covered arbour with table and chairs in the front yard, which is another little oasis to enjoy a cuppa.
